• Version Upgrade Question

From nristen@21:1/161 to All on Sat Mar 7 19:01:05 2020
    Hello,

My BBS, for the past year, has been running on a CentOS VM. I ran into a lot of problems trying to compile doors for it and decided a while ago to switch the BBS to an Ubuntu VM. I am finally getting around to this (been really
busy with a move, new job etc).

Unfortunately, I have been out of the loop and not kept up with the echomail regarding the mystic versions. I am currently running A43. Should I go
ahead and setup the new BBS install using A46?

    Just curious.

    Thanks

It would be beneficial to upgrade to A45 at least as A44/A45 were mostly
bugfix releases. A46 is going to have more new features too.

If you don't have a BBS that has a substancial amount of work done to it you can simply start over with A45 or A46, otherwise, you can also upgrade from all previous versions of Mystic to the current versions (see upgrade.txt included)

    You could always upgrade directly.
