• Message export command

From Lupine Furmen@21:4/102 to All on Thu Mar 12 01:31:19 2020
Hey all, having a bit of an issue with the Xport command in the message
reader. When I try to export a message I can never find where it saved it,
even when I use a full patch name like "c:\files\networks\sfnetqwk instructions.txt" The file is not in that folder like it should be. And I've checked all of the subfolders off my mystic folder and it's not in any of
    them either.

Hmm... are you doing this logged in locally or via a telnet etc. connect?

I do know for a local login it works fine for my win32 build

    I press X

The in my path type c:\temp\filetosave.txt

Then in my temp folder i have a filetosave.txt

It's important to use a .txt extension I've found

I have no idea if there was an issue back then, but your version is well over 2 years old and 8 releases behind at this point, so I can't really offer support on it. Not because I don't want to, but I just don't have the code for that version sitting around to fix it or investigate.

It might have been a bug in that version that was fixed, but its hard to say. The only way I can personally help you is if you upgraded and then still had the problem.

I'm logged in remotely, but it should still put the file where I tell it to
    on the host machine.

The most recent version that has come through the network is A44. I keep meaning to upgrade but other things keep coming up that take my attention
    away. (ADD is fun). :)

You would think so but I am not so sure.

The most recent version that has come through the network is A44. I keep

A45 is the latest that I hatched out, but A46 is a work in progress and still pre-alpha
