  • Deleting users

    Another question: I tried to delete a user I created to try things
    in my BBS.
    For that I used Mystic -cfg. But the user is marked as DELETED (or for deletion, don't remember the exact word right now) and he still appears in
    the Users List as seen from Mystic -cfg USER EDIT option...

    Any ideas?

    You'll need to use mutil to pack and purge the user base. Check out mutil.ini for examples on how to do this.

    Yes, when you delete user its a "soft delete". Meaning you can still
    undelete them.

    When you "pack" the user base using MUTIL it will physically remove the user and all the private messaged and stuff like that and they will no longer show up in the user editor.

    you need to run mutil and have pack user pack to yes in the mutil.ini
