• Order of Messages Areas

From Don Rolo@21:4/167 to All on Mon Mar 23 17:02:09 2020

Is there any way to re-arrange the order of the messages areas?
For example, if I want to move the message area assigned to "number 3" to "number 1" (because I just wanted the msg areas sorted alphabetically for example?) can I do it? I just try using the SORT command in MYSTIC -cfg
editor for the messages areas, but nothings happened...
    Thanks for any tip!

The sorting feature is a tad "strange" -- you have to navigate to the area
you want to move, then / (slash) and C (copy), then navigate to where you
want it, and then / (slash) and M (move before), and it will be moved to the line above where you are standing. :)

There ought to be an X (Cut) option among the options, like cut 'n' paste. :)

It worked perfect! And is a very fast way to rearrange messages areas!
    Thanks again.

This is from within mystic -cfg --> Editors --> Message Base Editor (or
Message Group Editor if you want to move message groups).
