Okay, so recently i've been getting a number at the start of each inbound message, does anyone know what these are?

I'm not seeing any numbers at the beginning of posts, and I can't think
of any reason why that would happen.

Replying to show the top line - 100 - I'm also seeing these. Very strange indeed.

Born too late to experience the scene.
Born just in time to see it come back.

It looks like this message has a number 100 at the top. I think you are
the only one that I've seen from net 4 that has the numbers, the rest
seem to be coming from net 2... I'm able to see them when I use the
NNTP server to read the messages.
Strange isn't it? Do you see that on your BBS and in an nntp reader?
I don't see that at all on my Mystic BBS at all, only in the odd reply that someone posts.. I wonder if it is an nntp thing?
It looks like something may be amiss in the seenby lines that could be causing it... Not sure yet...
I think you are right based on what Static has also posted.
I don't see that at all on my Mystic 1.12 A46 so it's hard for me to comment. Maybe it's windows specific or I am just not seeing it for some reason but you are on the right track.
From my end the "number headers" have dissapeared. Don't know what
caused it exactly.
I think it is intermittent, it's been going on for some time but I kinda lost the will to chase it up. I'll work on updating the HUBs to the
latest version to ensure we're all on the same page.
I did report this to g00r00 in another network, and he already found and fixed the problem. I'm guessing there will be a new pre-alpha soon. :)

I was reading the General echo and everything was normal with none of the numbers showing at the start of messages, then I received a new inbound packet and when I went back to reading the echo the numbers were back. I had a hunch and re-read some earlier messages and those had numbers now too, even though just minutes earlier they looked completely normal.
I'm guessing the seen-bys got updated by the new packet and that pushed something into position to trigger this. It does seem to be purely cosmetic though because my Synchro point is still receiving every
message from this Mystic system with completely normal kludges.
