My long range vision for my BBS is to add almost a MUD like interaction instead of the main menu on login but I have too much on my plate at the moment to do that. In the meantime, I would like to inject a very simple menubefore the Main Menu to direct people who are there solely to play
the newDoor game directly there, or continue onto the BBS.
Is there a relatively straightforward way to do this? Do I just copy the MainMenu, rework existing Main to be this new simple menu and call the Main Menucopy when the user wants the BBS? Or is there a better way to achieve this?
Yes--you could utilize the matrix login to create a menu of these
options. Each menu could link to another menu, login/apply--or connect
via telnet (IT) menu command to another BBS, or load a door--whatever!
Hmmm... matrix menu's. Not an expert on those but I will look into that approach. If I can divert someone off to the game menu or main menu in thismanner that sounds like a great approach.
