Hi All,
I'm just curious how many people are using the animated prompts MPL? I knowthere's a couple of them out there, but I've been using a modified version ofg00r00's g-pause.
I couldn't get g00r00's original g-pause one to work, it errored out underlinux because of the filename. I switched it an got it running BUT
I think youjust helped me out today over at my board so; I'm taken care of! THANKS.
I do use it, and want to - to answer your question....

nt prompts, and right now I'm at the 26 limit.
If there is an interest, I can hatch the new prompts out into fsxNet. I wou ve to contact g00r00 to get permission to hatch out the modified MPL though
Let me know if you'd like to see the new prompts. :)
For some reason, when you try to compile it by itself it will give you an error. (mplc themes/default/scripts/g-pause) But, it will compile when your run'mplc -t', which recompiles all of the MPLs in the themes directories. I'm notsure why... Maybe it needs to be run as 'mplc themes/default/scripts/g-pause',or with double quotes...
Take a look at the new prompts I uploaded as well. I recreated some old ANSIanimated prompts from back in my Proboard days. :)

I used to use this one, but I rewrote it to:
- use full named prompts (rolling-red-enter.ans) etc
- have a unlimited number of prompts
Its available at my board.

Yeah-- that was my issue ;)

I contacted g00r00 before publishing my mod of the prompt.

I would love them and learn how to make them work!
We're working on debugging one section, then it will be ready for
release. It'll probably be within the next few days.
It is really easy to make them work. It's just replacing your prompt in Mystic to run the MPL. It also comes with a bunch of prompts, and it's really easy to make more. ;)

But I will say that I think BP's collection of 26 animated prompts are
theNICEST ones I've seen so far, too... especially the one where.... theres two "[]" boxes on the end of a pause prompt... and inside the
boxes it spells out"Press enter" one character at a time.

26? I'm already working on number 39 for the release... ;)

That was one of the simple ones to put together. Be prepared for 'MiNd BLoWn!'
You know, it would be quite easy to setup either an fsxNet post, a .TXT fileor... some other way - for everyone to create cool pause prompts and have alarge list and a list of the bestest ones. You know, if some crazy hacker givesthe community an animated pause mode that supports unlimited prompts and all...
