This MPL is to leave a Message for the next caller correct? I followed the sysop.txt instructions for installing it, but when I'm trying to
test it put, the Hotkey doesn't seem to do anything.
Or do I need to have a non-sysop account to test things with?
RCSauto is a mod by Black Panther of RCS.
Its the one that displays RIGHT before logoff on 2o fOr beeRS. (Altho
mine is modified...)
If you followed sysop.txt correctly, it should just load and work. Since you say its 'displaying' I assume you compiled it (mplc rcsauto.mps)...
I could login to your board and try to help, or if you get me on discord we could chat it out...
I think actually I did mplc -t or something similar, I gave a successful result for everything except mmansion, which I'm playing with just
because I liked that old Door way back when.
But when I hit the hotkey, the screen just flashes quickly and goes back to the menu.
It's still a basic Mystic set-up other than adding a couple of mods. the MysticBB Forum and this one. Plus the Adventure Terminal game just to
see if I could use it as a Door.
mplc -t does every script in your /scripts folder - which would work,
but you can always do "mplc /path/to/.mps/file" for single compiles.
But when I hit the hotkey, the screen just flashes quickly and goes b to the menu.
Hmmm.. maybe seeing it fail in action would help me understand.

All good - if you stick with it I'm sure that will change over time. :P Also, I'll have to dial in and let you validate me. I'll help iron that mod out.

What do you have for your data line in your Mystic command?
It should be, at least, 'rcsauto'. If you want to indicate which color scheme you would like it to run, you can indicate it in that data line
by: 'rcsauto cyan', or 'rcsauto red', etc... It does have a default set up, so if you don't indicate a color, it will use the default color scheme.
Also, ensure that you have a compiled file in your scripts directory. It will have the name 'rcsauto.mpx'.
OK. I figured out my screwup. Somehow I setup and compiled rcslogof but wasmeaning to do rcsauto.
So rcslogof is there and sort of working, now I have to do rcsauto.

If you have rcslogof working, there is a command already set up from the menu to run rcsauto. Those two actually work together quite nicely. :)
I got it. Now I'm looking at the menubon rcslogof. The Play Russian Roulette option, the would be dm-rr11.zip Roulette game?
