Hi all, i had a question. is there a way to backup a mystic
configuration? so incase your BBS blows up bad, there would be a way of restoring the settings from an exported config file? i am hoping
something like this exists.

I just added a command in the sysop menu and it executed a shell - but
I'm on linux - you should be able to do the same with windows using zip. For linux, it
was a tar command that backed my entire mystic directory (which only equated to
about 9mb since I didn't back up the file section). I suppose you could put it in an event scheduler - but I just kept it manual.
Does anyone know, in what file the settings are stored?
Thanks

Most are stored in mystic.dat, but there are increasing .ini and other settings files in mystic root and data, even some in text so it's hard to get them all. Themes are of course under /mystic/themes for the most
part. That's some of the reason I use rsync and backup the whole file structure to other drives and systems.
