    That's cool!

I also noticed the new version supports a -run flag to mutil, so that I don't need multiple mutil.ini copies for different tasks. (Although for daily maintenance the number of enabled tasks is rather large, so that one is still separate here.)

    Best regards

I also notice some of g00r00's new messages have taglines on them... maybe a hint of things to come? *crosses fingers*

I saw that request of him in an othernet, nice to see it implemented in
Mystic. When I do update it will be a welcome addition.

LOL - taglines for messages? Like those annoying one-liners below a message? :P

I never used them but won't turn a feature away. I know on aBSINTHE, tho, I always say NOT to add them... guess /me doesn't need to use it - but wonder how it will be implemented too.

Yup, those are the ones! :)

I've always enjoyed them. Adds in a bit of humour to keep things lighthearted. Was one thing I kind of missed when getting back into the scene.

I'm not sure what aBSINTHE is.

g00r00 did a good job implementing it on Mystic. I always liked the way IceEdit did it back in the day & Mystic's approach is similar but better.

Search actually works if you wanted to look for a specific tagline & there's also a global database of taglines available for all users, as well as a database for each individual user, if they wanted to copy from the global or add in their own. Also, if you didn't want to manually select one each time you write a message, one can be randomly selected and added to your message automatically.

Hail! Wish it could be more then 5000 max though. I have more then that. Granted, I need to go through the file and remove offensive ones and ones I don't like.

Yeah, there are a few from my file that I had to take out. Written in jest way back when, but no longer appropriate in 2021.

The upgrade was pretty seamless for me. Just followed the instructions in upgrade.txt and I'm chugging away.

IBBS One Liners, MRC, BBSLink & Door Party are all still working. I did have to remove the paths for Python2 & Python3 library under Configuration -> General Settings as they were set to a Windows path. Other than that, no issues so far.

You may have me mixed up with someone else. I'm connected to Paul/Avon's 21:1/10 node for usenet feeds.

... What do you mean? You actually read this Tagline?!?

Yeah I just did the upgrade. One thing I'm noticing is that those networks with issues such as happynet, dorenet, or PiNet (I think he's manually recreating his hub one node at a time, I finally have RetroNetworking) .. when I get a "unable to connect" or "access denied" it creates a .bsy file within /echomail/out/subfolderfornetwork, in addition creates a poll.bsy within semaphore. I've had to delete them when I manually poll, which means I'll need to use a script to ensure that when my event editor does it's hourly poll, I don't have unprocessed files -- as, when the .bsy files exit, the ./mutil mailin gives me a .bsy files error.

Same here, those are all working good, other then the anomilies I can not figure out which is my covid tracker and rss feeds occasionally producing python errors and not updating. But that has existed since .46 :)

Yeah I kinda figured, but I know it's someone with an alias close to yours. I wish I could figure out who it is as it was a "test" that went away, and now I'm being slammed with them again and limited info as to who they are coming from. Maybe you helped me with js .. I'm sorry I don't remember. Call it a crazy year, age, and beer ;)
