Hmm, maybe some fortune telling by g00r00, the last line of whatsnew.txt for the latest A47 pre-alpha reads:
<ALPHA 1.12 A47 RELEASED -- July 18, 2021>

Warpslide how is yours working so far? I'm on the Alpha release now and all seems to be working like a champ, other then the fact that I get a poll.bsy every time I poll the FTN's I subscribe to. Not sure if this
is an RPI thing, but once a day I kill the poll.bsy and then am able to send/receive mail fine. I'll likely just start using my .sh script
again to pause between system polls, process mail, and killbusy before
and after within the script; unless you're also having/had the issue and solved it?

I'm on a Pi as well & mine seems to be working ok. I've not actually
had this problem happen to me before so I'm not really sure what causes it.
I poll for Fido (3 hubs), fsx, micro & metro and then dove w/ qwkpoll
and it just kind of zips through the process. I do reboot nightly after shutting Mystic down properly to back up the bbs directory, not sure if that is what's helping me?
** nighboot.sh **
#!/bin/bash
export mysticbbs=/home/pi/mystic
cd /home/pi/mystic
./mis shutdown
sleep 10
./mis poll killbusy all
rm -f /home/pi/mystic/semaphore/*

My only other thought may be a misbehaving bink hub that those with the issue are connecting to that I'm not that causes Mystic to crash?

I'm also still killing a poll.bsy every now and again - prolly once a
day, but I only catch it every other or so... wtf. :P
Are you using a looping script to start Mystic and keep it running? At present I haven't been having issues with poll.bsy on my Pi or Linux/64 with A47. I'll need to update today hopefully to the release now that
it's out.
