Just to give you a heads up, as of 2/2 the my BBS will be on Auto for about 2-3 weeks. I am going into the hospital and then into a rehab facility for care. I am having my L4, L5/S1 repaired and Fused. This will allow me to come out of a Wheel Chair and be able to finally walk again normally and without pain.

Back Story, two tours in IRAQ, I was hurt pretty bad. was shot three times, back, leg and right arm. I have enough rod, screws and plate now to set off a metal detector 50 feet away. going to add more. But, I get to now walk normally (as 'normal' as I can get) and without serious pain.

If you do not hear from me in 45 days, the BBS crashes and no longer communicating, something when seriously wrong.

Sending you best wishes (as I am sure others will be too) for a speedy recovery from the surgery. The positive outcomes from getting this done sound great and it will be wonderful to walk again without pain.

Wow, Argos. I know this was to Avon, but I appreciate (but cannot comprehend) what you've been through! Wishing you a speedy rehab!

Ricky! First thank you for your service!! Look at what you wrote above, you have been shot 3 times, you will be up and walking before 45 days so don't worry.. Good luck with the surgery and know there are people out here pulling for you!!

hope all goes well for you.
on the note of your BBS being on auto, take a look in the Mystic devs file echo for MyGUI, latest has just been hatched and it has a feature to keep your BBS up and running after a windows re boot, even if mis.bsy is not removed from your semaphore directory. so if your windows system does an update or any other re boot, MyGUI will start your BBS server again for you. just turn On SRV auto start and MyGUI auto start in the options section of MyGUI.
