I've been looking for a really good alternative to the stock Mystic BBS list. My search for existing scripts has been coming up short. Suggestions?

Well, off the top of my head I am looking for some or all of these things:

Lightbar list
add / edit / delete /verify BBS entries
voting system for most popular
export list for download
maybe flags of some sort (DOORS, Fido, fsx)
search listing (including by flags)

I am sure I can think of some more specifics as well.

Well, off the top of my head I am looking for some or all of these things:

Sweet, thanks, took some notes! I find this interesting. Possibly the sysop can either run the bbslist mod against a local db or against some federated source. I'll mull this over and see what I think may be possible.

gy-blam21.zip ; by Darrell Perry, this is the most popular one that Mystic sysops like.. I can't remember if it needs some tweaking to get working on a48 - but if it doesn't work I'm sure I could dig up a version that does. :P

BBSLIST by APAM ; this isn't Mystic specific, tho...

Last thought, have you ever seen how custom you can make your STOCK bbs list? Swing by 2o and check mine - NO, it still isn't lightbar, but with some tweaking you can make it LOOK a lot better...

I *think* I have an a48 w0rking copy of gy-blam, but I haven't used it since a47 so thats a guess. If anyone wants a copy just lemme know how to send it.

Have you looked at any of the old door programs that we used to use back in the day? I know there used to be a bunch of them, might want to check the BBS Archive.
