Hello folks, in some bbs I have seen a menu appear before logging in, like to see terms, system specs or other stuff you don't need to have an account for; how is it configured?
Is there a kind of autoexec?
The first menu i see is invoked after login i think (right?) and so?

I think it is connect.mps which is called before showing anything and prelogin.mps when a user logged in.

You are right, mystic doesnt come with them.

But when you create a script connect.mps and compile it - this script will be executed when there is a connection to the port mystic runs on. I use this to connect to my mystic board using websockets (from PHP).

Same for startup.mps, it runs just before the login prompt.

Very usefull for certain scripts, check bbs.opicron.eu for some ideas.
