Hello folks, in some bbs I have seen a menu appear before logging in, like see terms, system specs or other stuff you don't need to have an account f how is it configured?
Is there a kind of autoexec?
The first menu i see is invoked after login i think (right?) and so?
I think it is connect.mps which is called before showing anything and prelogin.mps when a user logged in.
Hello Op,

mmmm my Mystic doesn't have this menu....
Sorry, I should have been more clear. The connect and prelogin are
mystic MPL scripts which are called.

What connect and prelogin scripts? I don't think Mystic comes with script named that.
But when you create a script connect.mps and compile it - this script
will be executed when there is a connection to the port mystic runs on. Same for startup.mps, it runs just before the login prompt.

Thanks for letting me know this. Very useful information to have for futu changes to my BBS.
