having Mystic send mail through SMTP.
I think one of the last things I've yet to sort out with using Mystic is
Do you have cryptlib compiled/installed and working correctly with
Mystic?
Hey now,
I think one of the last things I've yet to sort out with using Mystic is having Mystic send mail through SMTP.
Under Servers > General Options, I have my SMTP host and port set correctly. The login and password have been tested with another client
and are correct. SMTP Use SSL/TLS is set to Yes. I have tried all of the SMTP Auth Types and none of them seem to work.
I can see in my Postfix logs: lost connection after STARTTLS
When I try to watch the client connect, I can see Postfix offer STARTTLS as a command and I can see Mystic issue the command, and then it drops.
I am assuming Mystic is trying to use weak ciphers or something that I
do not allow with Postfix.
Does anyone have any details on this or can offer some advice? Thanks,
---
I just went through this. Do you have cryptlib enabled and working?
Yes, I use SSH when I connect to my board. As mentioned, it only supports older/weaker ciphers.. so maybe it's an old cryptlib? Or maybe thats
just how it is?
Which email provider are you using? Most, including gmail require app passwords setup. You can't use your main account.
