I am trying to move my BBS from Windows to Linux but I am having
problems. In Linux, I try to run Mystic in DOSBox, which is necessary I guess, but it keeps giving me the error "Cannot run program in DOS
mode." So what the heck?
There are Linux native versions of Mystic; http://mysticbbs.com/downloads/mys112a47_l32.rar http://mysticbbs.com/downloads/mys112a47_l64.rar http://mysticbbs.com/downloads/mys112a47_p32.zip
Those will allow you to run in Linux 32bit, Linux 64bit or Linux
Raspberry Pi 32bit environments perfectly.
If you have a complete Windows Mystic setup you'll just have to modify paths, and any other system-environment issues with directories, paths, etc updated to Linux-native syntax's.

Mystic for windows is a windows program. Mystic for linux is a linux program. There is no Mystic for dos.
So you are trying to run a Mystic Windows 32bit version in a 16bit
Dosbox on a 64bit Linux machine .... hmmm sorry, 32bit Linux, just
kidding ;)
Mystic has linux binaries also, use those, as they're native to linux.
