Is anyone using Mystic's mailer to hub for a small network? I'm
curious, been running Synchronet for many years and am considering a change.
Mystic lacks (currently) the ability to request files from other nodes or to honour incoming requests so that it something you will miss if you move from Synchronet if you use that.

I'd thought about going back to standalone apps - I used to use Radius for a mailer (which handles FREQ just fine) and Allfix for file echoes.

I like Synchronet's mailer, BinkIT along with FreqIT for requests.
Mystic's shining light is it's support. If you have an issue with Synchronet, Rob will always answer your questions rather quickly (considering the question repeat themselves endlessly). He's a patient guy. I went to their IRC channel couple weeks ago and the arrogance was overwhelming.
I'm back with Mystic. Life is too short.
You can find arrogant people anywhere.
I wouldn't abandon Synchronet because a few people that hang around have bad attitudes. Those people have nothing to do with Synchronet
development or where it is going.
Rob is a good guy. He has always answered questions with just the right snappy attitude. I hear he's also a pretty good drummer.
