    Howdy,

Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion to port over to Synchronet. Once I started moving the bpoard over to the Pi 5, I realized if I was building from scratch I may as well switch. Much easier to setup. All info I needed for compiling, installing and setting up was found in the Wiki instead of having to browse throught 250 different forums scattered around the web and figuring out which ones were actually current enough to have accurate info.

    Glad you are online.

BTW: My name is Deon, not Dean :)

I know I've got a rare name, when ever I verbally tell somebody my name, and they write it down, 95% right down dion.

I then ask them how to spell "neon" (as in the light).
And finally, I ask them how to spell "lion" (as in the african animal).

Then I ask why did they choose di over de... most dont know :)

That said, I've only ever met 3 other deon's in person. I worked with one - he was a dion - that was 40 years ago. Then in the last 5 years I met the other two within a few months of each other - one became a neighbour, the other was an uber driver taking me to the airport. They were deons with an "E" :)

Initially skipped over the install of Binkit, so first few times I tried polling I was thinking 'Not again!' Scrolled the wiki page and said "OH!"
Good to have this moving again.
