Mike,
Yes and no. Hard boiled eggs are slightly lower in fat than
scrambled, but this is by only a small amount. There isn't
really much in it.
It's rare I have eggs anymore. At one time, there was this product
called "Egg Beaters" that you poured out of a milk carton size deal
into a pan (that you sprayed with "PAM" or had butter in it, and you
could make scrambled eggs with. The deal here was either low or no
cholesterol.
I love hard boiled eggs in salads. Speaking of which, I ran into
a deal on Facebook called GardenCup. While they have several
varieties, they can be a bit pricey, but have several nutritious
ingredients with them.
Back to the eggs, I think of the hunters eating at the campsite,
and the game warden approaches them. There is a sign that notes "NO
POACHING ALLOWED", and the game warden wants to know how they are
cooking their eggs. <G>
In another case, at a restaurant, the waitress is asked if they
serve poached eggs. Grinning wryly, she replies "No, sir. We get
our eggs from legitimate chickens". <G>
