I was just wondering if anyone uses electronic drums live and had any success. Unfortunately I live in an apartment and v-drums are the only option I have but with a good amp and Superior Drummer I think it could fool the untrained ear. Anybody have experience with this kind of set up?

Hi, I'm no expert, but maybe it depends on what music you like to play? I would think the electronic drums would work with the audience with live electronic/synth type music but maybe they would be a disappointer with the audience with rock/guitar type music? Unless, the drummer is insane awesome and maybe then one can get over this hurdle.

But, in any case, I see how they would be beneficial in an apartment. And if you have the funds why not have both :-b
